Triumph of the Spirit brings together rising stars and orchestral masterworks in a program celebrating resilience, imagination, and artistic brilliance. Orchestra Nova Northwest showcases the exceptional talents of Cognizart’s 2024 Young Artists Debut winner as well as former winner Nikita Istratov, alongside two iconic works of the repertoire: Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, filled with sweeping romance and deeply expressive melodies, and Stravinsky’s electrifying Suite from The Firebird, whose dazzling orchestration and triumphant conclusion capture the transformative power of hope and renewal. Together, these performances embody the enduring spirit of creativity and human aspiration.
