TUNING TO THE KEY OF GRATITUDE
Before every concert, you will hear the bright tones of the oboe singing an “A,” so the full orchestra can tune to that note. But right now, ONN is tuning to the key of G, for GRATITUDE in recognition of our wonderful patrons.
Since our humble beginnings 40 years ago, Orchestra Nova Northwest has come to play a critical role in the community for audiences, families, and musicians alike. Only with the financial support of people like you can ONN continue to:
- keep ticket prices low and affordable
- diversify and expand the symphonic repertory with pieces by local, living, and under-represented composers
- perform in comfortable, convenient, venues
- provide competitive creative jobs for some of the best musicians the Portland area has to offer
- introduce the joys of orchestral music to kids and families
- build and reach audiences in both Portland and East County, as the only orchestra to serve the Gresham community
