Karl Snyder

Karl joined Portland Columbia Symphony in 2019, but his career has long been focused in non-profit arts administration. His previous positions at Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and The Whitney Museum of American Art give him experience in the areas of customer service, development, and data improvement. Originally from Austin, TX, Karl attended Carleton College in Minnesota, and then spent significant stints in Minneapolis and Brooklyn, NY, before settling in Portland. When he’s not at Portland Columbia Symphony, Karl is also the Music Editor for FRONTRUNNER Magazine and writes for Medium and The Wild Honey Pie. In his spare time, he enjoys biking, attending concerts, and spending time with his cat, Twig.
