Teague Shattuck (he/him) is originally from San Jose, CA where he studied piano, voice, theatre, and dance into adulthood. After receiving the Point Scholarship & PFLAG Scholarship for LGBTQ+ Advocacy in 2018, he moved to Portland, OR to attend Reed College for Anthropology with an emphasis in Media Studies and Queer Studies. Teague has worked as an arts educator with The Portland International School, Children’s Healing Art Project, Spotlight Musical Theatre Academy, and more. He’s managed event planning and administration for Terwilliger Plaza and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Parish, while performing professionally with Lakewood Theatre Co., NW Children’s Theatre, Bridgetown Conservatory, and others. He founded the PDX Chapter of the annual Trans Voices Cabaret in 2022 and composed/music directed the rock opera “Wager All” with an all-trans cast in 2024. Currently, he is working on the new, original musical “Everybody’s Eyes are on The First!” and improving his juggling skills!
